COMPLIANCE & DATA HANDLING

How bigexch Manages Your Data and Account Security

We apply defined data-handling and account-security practices across every layer of the platform.

Data Collection Scope

We collect only the data required to operate your account — identity documents for verification, transaction records for UPI and Paytm activity, and device identifiers for account-security purposes. Nothing beyond operational necessity.

Cookie Policy

We use session cookies to maintain your login state and preference cookies to remember your language and region settings. No third-party advertising cookies are placed without your explicit consent via our cookie preference panel.

Account Security Practices

All account access is protected with two-factor authentication prompts on unrecognised devices. Login attempts from unusual IP ranges trigger an automatic verification email to your registered address before access is granted.

Data Retention Period

Account and transaction records are retained for seven years from the date of your last transaction, in line with standard financial compliance requirements. After that period, records are securely deleted unless a legal hold is active.

Your Right to Request Changes

You may request a copy of the personal data we hold on your account, or ask us to correct inaccurate information, at any time. Submit your request through the formal written notice channel and we will respond within 30 days.

Who to Contact for Data Concerns

Our designated data compliance officer handles all personal data queries. For matters related to PhonePe or UPI transaction records specifically, reference your transaction ID in your query so we can retrieve the relevant payment log promptly.

Frequently Asked Legal Questions

These answers address the legal questions we receive most often from account holders in India. If your question is not covered here, reach out through our live chat or formal written notice channel and our compliance team will respond with a documented answer.

Yes. Every payment method we support, including UPI, Paytm and PhonePe, falls under our terms of use. When you initiate a transaction, you are agreeing that both our internal policy and the respective payment network's own conditions apply simultaneously.

Eligibility depends entirely on the laws of your specific state or territory in India. We cannot determine this on your behalf. You must confirm that access and participation are permitted under local law before creating or continuing to use your account.

Yes, you can request a full copy of the data we hold linked to your account. Submit a written request through our contact form with your registered email and account ID. We will compile and send the data package within 30 calendar days of receiving your request.

Transaction records, including UPI and PhonePe deposit and withdrawal logs, are retained for seven years after your final transaction. This period is set to meet standard financial compliance obligations, after which records are permanently and securely deleted.

We notify you by email to your registered address at least seven days before any material change to our legal terms takes effect. Continuing to use the platform after that notice period closes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

Submit your dispute through the formal written notice channel on our contact page. Include your account ID, the date of the transaction or decision, and a clear description of the issue. We log all submissions with a timestamped reference and aim to respond within five working days.

During verification we collect government-issued identity documents, a confirmation of your payment method (such as a linked UPI ID or Paytm account), and device identifiers used to detect unauthorised access. We do not collect information beyond what is operationally required to run your account.
